Abstract
In a field experiment the influence of nitrogen supply on seed yield and oil content of winter oilseed rape was examined. The N treatments were achieved by different pre-crops (winter barley, peas) and different forms and rates of N fertiliser (mineral and organic fertiliser; 0 to 240 kg N/ha). The effect of mineral fertilisation on yield and oil content could not be substituted adequately by organic N sources under the given site conditions.
