Abstract
Macroinitiators containing β-diketonate fragments were prepared by copolymerization of styrene with cobalt(II) 5-methyl-5-hexene-2,4-dionate. The influence of the degree of conversion at which the macroinitiators were isolated on their initiating activity in grafting of methyl methacrylate onto them and on the molecular-weight characteristics of the graft copolymers was examined.
