Deze begeleiding is vervolgens in september 2012 uitgevoerd. Tijdens het onderzoek zijn slechts een beperkt aantal archeologische waarden aangesneden. Dit vanwege het feit dat de ontgraving van het terrein beperkt is gebleven tot de locaties waar funderingsbalken ten behoeve van de nieuwbouw waren voorzien alsook dat deze delen niet dieper ontgraven zijn als de onderzijde van de aan te leggen funderingsbalken, veelal niet meer als 50 cm –Mv.Op deellocatie 1, langs de Tolhuisstraat, bestaan de aangetroffen resten voornamelijk uit restanten van de oorspronkelijk langs de straat aanwezige bebouwing. De aangesneden resten daarvan dateren vermoedelijk uit de 17de eeuw en later. Deze resten zijn goed geconserveerd, maar opgemerkt moet worden dat vanwege de geringe ontgravingsdiepte alleen de bovenzijde ervan bij de begeleiding is aangesneden c.q. verwijderd. In de diepere ondergrond vallen hier nog zeker meer goed geconserveerde resten van te verwachten. In latere tijden is deze bebouwing in oostelijke richting uitgebreid. Aan de uiterste oostzijde van deellocatie 1 zijn echter afgezien van twee recente muurresten geen archeologische waarden aangetroffen. Dit vanwege het feit dat dit deel van de locatie in recente tijden sterk is opgehoogd. De in het kader van de nieuwbouw uitgevoerde graafwerkzaamheden doorsneden de onderkant van dit recente pakket niet.Op deellocatie 2 zijn behalve een fundamentrest van de 18e eeuwse molen alleen enkele muurresten van de daarop volgende 20ste eeuwse bebouwing aangetroffen. Laatstgenoemde zijn inmiddels verwijderd. De onderzijde van het molenfundament ligt op of zelfs boven het huidig maaiveld en is matig geconserveerd. Andere resten van de molen zijn tijdens het onderzoek niet aangetroffen en deze worden ook verder niet meer op het terrein verwacht. De molenheuvel zelf is grotendeels nog aanwezig alhoewel deze wel na afbraak van de molen in 1905 op een gegeven moment afgetopt moet zijn. Dit vanwege het feit dat het nog aanwezige restant van de molenfundering vandaag de dag op en zelfs boven het huidig maaiveld is gelegen. Verder is de heuvel aan de noordzijde, langs de Molenhoek zelf, bij aanleg van de vandaag de dag aanwezige tuinmuur sterk vergraven.
