Mean lifetime of theB 0 s meson

Abstract

This paper presents an update of the measurement of the mean lifetime of theB 0 s meson. CombiningD s−ℓ,D sh,φ−ℓ and inclusiveD s final states from the 3.2 million hadronic Z decays collected by DELPHI between 1991 and 1994, theB 0 s mean lifetime was measured to be:τ(B 0 s )=1.67±0.14 ps.
