Abstract
We demonstrated a wavelength conversion experiment from 160Gb/s: OTDM signal to 4λ × 40Gb/s:WDM signals with multicasting function by using four-wave mixing in a highly-nonlinear fiber. This technique was based on the OTDM/WDM converter using FWM and the multicasting function is easily available by aligning mutual timing of WDM clock pulses.
