Os desafios da gestão remota em tempo de pandemia

A pandemia alterou a rotina de milhares de empresas no Brasil em 2020. Neste cenário, com o apoio de tecnologias de informação e comunicação (TICs), muitos trabalhadores passaram a realizar suas atividades de forma remota. Todavia, esta mudança repentina trouxe rupturas e desafios para as organizações, pessoas e famílias. Assim, o objetivo do trabalho foi investigar as percepções de gestores e liderados brasileiros sobre a mudança para o teletrabalho ocorrida no contexto da crise sanitária decorrente da pandemia da Covid-19, por meio de análise das respostas de 652 participantes em uma pesquisa quantitativa. A pesquisa considerou relevantes para a condução do trabalho remoto e gestão de equipes virtuais os fatores apontados na literatura. Os resultados demonstraram que a interação com a equipe e as dificuldades de comunicação/contato com clientes são os maiores obstáculos. Além disso, indicaram que os liderados não consideram estar preparados para o teletrabalho nem que as atividades tenham sido adequadas, embora os gestores tenham percepções distintas. A motivação também foi impactada, de acordo com o que responderam os liderados, mas sem alterar o comprometimento e a eficiência.
