Could Scotland’s new mandatory staffing tools work elsewhere in the NHS? Bee Friend reports

Health boards in Scotland will have to start using staffing tools in April. Advocates say the tools enable a quality-driven assessment of the staff numbers and skills needed to provide the best care. However, there is concern the tools may not be responsive to service changes.
