Poor liaison between multidisciplinary teams caused problems for Andrew Koh's patient. The episode made him realise the link students provide in the communication chain

Students are told that good communication with patients is vital. But equally important to patients' wellbeing is good communication with other members of the care team. An episode during a placement highlighted that point for me.
