Abstract: In view of electrical energy waste problem of belt conveyor in a Coal Mine,an electrical energy-saving control system with frequency-conversion speed-regulation for belt conveyor was designed.The system uses BP neural network to build energy-saving model of coal flow,belt speed and power consumption of belt conveyor,uses genetic algorithm and neural network to optimize the model parameters to get the best matching relationship between the coal flow and belt speed,uses fuzzy control algorithm to realize energy-saving operation of belt conveyor with frequency-conversion speed-regulation.The practical application shows that the system can regulate speed of belt conveyor according to coal flow,and energy-saving effect is notable.
