國小英語課堂教學中的同儕互動研究

本研究採質性研究取向，實際進入一個四年級班級的英語科的課堂教學內，對國小學生進行同儕互動之研究，以提供教師掌握學生在班級中的互動情形，了解國小學生課堂教學之同儕文化，並作為教師班級經營的參考。本研究歷經兩個月，每週兩節課的課堂觀察，並透過訪談、社會計量法、問卷調查等方法，所得結論如下：一、從教師的立場來看，課堂教學中的同儕互動有助於增進教師的教學效率，達成教學的目標；然而，過多不當的同儕互動，對教師的教學仍然會產生負面的影響；二、從學生的立場來看，課堂教學中的同儕互動提供了學生諸多的功能，如社交閒談、抒發情感、傳達消息、影響說服；三、課堂教學中同儕之正式互動同時存在著多種型態；四、學生群體之間的互動型態以合作關係多於相互競爭的關係；五、學生之間在課堂教學中的互動係以非正式互動為主；六、學生在課堂教學中的同儕互動方式包括語言與非語言互動；七、學生的角色與地位、教師的教學領導方式、小組團體特質、學生座位的安排等因素，是影響國小學生課堂教學中同儕互動的重要因素。根據本研究之結論，研究者對國小教師提出若干建議。

The purpose of this study is to understand the elementary students' peer interaction in the classroom. The main method of this research is classroom observation. The observer enters into a fourth grade classroom to explore the students' social behaviors. Conclusions are drawn as follows: 1. The students' peer interaction has some functions. 2. The relationship of peer interaction is cooperative. 3. The styles of students' peer interaction are informal. 4. Students can communicate through body language. 5. The kinds of students' peer interaction are different because of the teacher's leadership, the student's status, and the organization of groups.
