The purpose of the study was to explore the current situation of learning stress and personal background for public senior high school dance class students in the region of Taiwan. The factors considered included learning stress for various personal backgrounds (sex, grades, learning of parents) for dance class students. A questionnaire of students' learning stress was used for collecting data. A total of 353 dancing students from 9 public high schools in Taiwan participated in this study. The results of this study were: (1) The learning stress of dance class students was close to average. Academic grades, class load, personal factors were the highest of learning stress. (2) There was a significant different between ”learning stress” and ”gender” ”grade”, ”years of dancing”, ”learning background”, ”academic grades”, in public senior high school students in Taiwan. According to the results above, adjust teaching attitude based on students' characters, establishing fine interactive relationship between teachers and students and accommodate to individual variance, and concern about student’s emotional life.
