An Option to Taiwan's Diplomacy: the Establishment of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade

摘要

Under the background of the U.S.-China confrontation and Taiwan's successful epidemic prevention, Taiwan's diplomatic situation has once again received intense attention. Especially after the President of the Czech Senate Milos Vystrčil, the Secretary of Health of the United States Alex Azar and Undersecretary of the State Department Keith Krach visited Taiwan successively. The Taiwanese people are full of expectations for the promotion of Taiwan's diplomatic status, and even hope to fully restore diplomatic relations with major countries in the world. In fact, Taiwan's diplomatic breakthroughs today still depend to a large extent on the economic strength accumulated over the years. In addition to the outstanding performance of the "National Mask Team," Taiwan has achieved world-renowned achievements in epidemic prevention, Taiwan's high-tech industries and the vitality of small and medium-sized enterprises have made Taiwan impressive to the world, and established a new situation for Taiwan's diplomacy.
