Uticaj firminih programa upravljanja okolinom i uključenosti zajednice na zaposlene i lokalnu zajednicu

Sažetak
Ostvarivanje kontinuiranog uspeha firme podrazumeva stvaranje ekonomske vrednosti uz uvažavanje okoline i društvenih vrednosti. Firme takođe moraju da znaju kakve su potrebe i očekivanja relevantnih faktora i da ih uključe u svoje strategije poslovanja i programe. Ovi izazovi podrazumevaju da inženjeri u svojim profesionalnim aktivnostima treba da uzimaju u obzir društvena, zdravstvena i bezbednosna, komercijalna i pitanja okoline. Ovo istraživanje bavi se uticajem koji imaju firmini programi upravljanja okolinom i uključenosti zajednice na njihove zaposlene i na lokalnu zajednicu, pri čemu je posebna pažnja posvećena malim i srednjim kompanijama. Rezultati kvantitativnih istraživanja pokazuju da zaposleni u firmama, koje više ulažu u programe upravljanja okolinom i programe uključenosti lokalne zajednice, pokazuju veće učešće u lokalnoj zajednici i da ima više pozitivne nego negativne povratnog uticaja od zajednice, pri čemu se ističe da je potrebno da firme posvećuju više pažnje svojoj politici komunikacije.
