Abstract: |
Evaluation revealing evidence of an extensive ploughsoil horizon which had associated ditches and pits formed by the early post-medieval period. The earliest evidence for buildings dated to the first half of the 17th century. Pits dating to the 17th century, some of them brick lined, were also evident as wall an extensive perimeter wall dating to the same period. Pits dating to the 18th century were also apparent. Extensive remains of 19th century industrial structures were also recorded. |
