Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation by field survey was carried out on the site of a proposed A140 road bypass scheme, Long Stratton, south Norfolk. The field survey revealed scatters of prehistoric worked flint with evidence of Romano-British, medieval and post-medieval activity in the form of pottery, ceramic building materials and metal finds.
