Description

Created for the 'A Culture of Copyright: A scoping study on open access to digital cultural heritage collections in the UK' report, 63 galleries, libraries, archives and museums (GLAMs) were selected for a more in-depth dive into copyright and open access policies and practice. This survey created a dataset extending to GLAM policies published on their own website related to copyright, open access, sensitive materials, and the public task, as well as policies on external platforms where digital collections are published.

A survey of access to the digital collections of 195 UK GLAMs across internal and external platforms is available on Zenodo at: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.6242179
