CONHECENDO A PRODUÇÃO ACADÊMICA SOBRE OS PROCESSOS DE AUTOAVALIAÇÃO INSTITUCIONAL NA EDUCAÇÃO SUPERIOR BRASILEIRA: UM ESTUDO BIBLIOMÉTRICO EM PERIÓDICOS CIENTÍFICOS NACIONAIS

Description

This research aimed to undertake a bibliometric study about academic-scientific production in journals that addressed the theme of Institutional Self-Assessment (AAI) in the context of SINAES, in order to learn about the characteristics of this scientific production with regard to the information derived from it possible to be quantified. For this, data collection was carried out on the CAPES journals portal and articles were selected that had the thematic focus on the Institutional Self-Assessment of the hight education institutions’s in the context of SINAES and then bibliometric techniques were applied to quantify the information present and further analysis of the collected material. Through the application of bibliometric techniques it was possible to know the historical-temporal path of the productions published on the theme; identify the dispersion of productions in the journals, identify the thematic nucleus, in addition to knowing the quality standard of the journals; recognize the frequency of keywords; to know the co-authorship relationships and the productivity of the authors; understand the referencing and citation relationships established by the articles; identify the authors and works that are a reference for the theme; to know the methodological frameworks of the research, the nature of the institutions studied, as well as the most adopted methodological procedures.
