Yuan Mei recorded about 130 women in his Notes on Poetry in Sui Garden who are from the daughters of illustrious families to prostitutes. These records represent the animated female ecology during the middle Qing dynasty truly and vividly, and turn the female image in inherent awareness on its head. The females took comparatively great part in Yuan Mei’s life who was famous for his ‘lechery’. His respectful attitude for the female could be a role model in modern Women’s Equality Movement, because the negative description almost could not be found in his writing. This es,say only chooses the part of the daughters from illustrious families and tries to draw a comparatively real world of famous ladies of quality. Over 50 famous ladies who are good at poetry are recorded in Notes on Poetry in Sui Garden, including their life stories and poems. The common distinguishing feature of these famous poetesses is the outstanding ability of poesy. Some of them even won Yuan Mei’s admiration, such as Xu Deyin, Zhou Yuezun etc. Yuan Mei recorded the names of 11 poetesses ’poetry collections, such as Gu Ying, Zhang Zao and Han Yunyu ect, which fully shows the well-development of female poetry education and the prosperity of female literature. Base on their outstanding level of poetics, the females who had received orthodox literature education were not only educated and reasonable, but also virtuous and capable. They could be up in the hall, and also could be down in the kitchen. At the same time, they had independent personalities and correct recognition on life, could deal with things sharply and smartly. In many of their poems, it could be seen that they were proficient in Chinese character’s rhyme. Their views, opinions and feelings are all contained, too.

袁枚在≪隨園詩話≫中記錄了一百三十名左右的女子,從名門閨秀到妓女,生動而又真實地展現了淸朝中期活躍的女性生態,顛覆了固有認識中的女性形象。以‘好色’出名的袁枚,生活中女性占了相當大的部分。他對女性的尊重態度應該可以算得上是如今時代女性平等運動的楷模,因爲在他的筆下幾乎找不到對女性負面的描述。本文僅選取了名門閨秀的部分,試圖通過袁枚之筆來勾勒出當時相對真切的名媛世界。≪隨園詩話≫中記錄了五十多名善於作詩的名媛。既有她們的生活故事,也有她們的詩作。這些名門閨秀詩人共通的特點就是詩才卓越,甚至到了讓袁枚仰慕的境地,以徐德音、周月尊爲代表。而且袁枚來記錄了以顧英、張藻、韓韞玉爲代表的十九位女詩人的詩集名,充分反映出了淸朝中期女性詩學教育的普及發達與女性文學的繁榮鼎盛。在詩學水平出色的基礎上,通過正統詩書教育的女性們知書達理而又賢惠能幹,上得廳堂、下得廚房,同時還具有獨立的人格和對人生的正確認識,處理事情機敏而又聰慧。在們的眾多的詩篇中,不僅有她們熟練掌握漢字音律的技術,更是承載了她們對生活的視角、看法和感受。
