Abstract

Fourteen cases of habitual and recurrent dislocation of the shoulder joint were collected in the last ten years; sexual incidence was expressed either sex as 7 in male and 7 in female and the age varied from 12 to 37 years.
12 cases of them are anterior dislocation, the other 2 cases, posterior.
8 cases of the former were treated surgically with Oudard procedure (technique of Zinnaka).
Follow up examination shows satisfactory results.
One of the latter was operated with Nicola procedure. There is no recurrence of luxation for 4 years after operation.
