대학 창업교육센터의 특성과 차이점에 관한 연구 : 대학평가순위 그룹별 비교를 통한 특성분석

A Study on Characteristics and Differences of University Entrepreneurship Education Centers

본 연구는 교육부에서 2012년도부터 2016년도까지 운영하였던「산학협력 선도대학(LINC) 육성사업」에서 대학 내 창업교육을 총괄하기 위해 각 대학에 설치된 전담조직인 창업교육센터의 특성을 분석하고, 2017년에 새롭게 지정된 LINC+ 사업(2017년∼2021년) 창업교육 분야의 정책적 시사점을 제시한다. 창업교육이 창업생태계 구성요소 중에서 매우 중요함에도 창업교육센터 운영 관련 연구는 창업연구분야에서 간과되어 왔다. 창업교육이 대학뿐만 아니라 중고등학교 학생 대상으로 확장되고 있는 상황에서 대학 중심 창업교육센터의 바람직한 운영에 관한 연구는 실무적인 측면에서도 매우 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 대학 창업교육센터를 대상으로 한 연구를 실시하고자 하였다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 국내 창업교육센터(Entrepreneurship Education Centers)에 대한 선행 문헌연구, 대학정보공시 DB 분석, 창업교육센터 운영에 대한 구조적 설문지를 개발하여 실태를 분석하여 활성화된 대학 그룹과 비활성화 대학 그룹의 특성과 차이점을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 창업교육센터의 효율적 운영을 위해 대학 교직원, 연구자, 공무원, 학생 및 창업지원 기관의 이해 관계자에게 대학 창업교육 관련 정보와 시사점을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

This study aims to analyze characteristics of entrepreneurship education centers, which are organizations, established at universities in 2012 to take full charge of and support entrepreneurship education in the 「Leaders in INdustry-university Cooperation(LINC) Fostering Project(2012 to 2016)」 of the Ministry of Education and to extract differences between activated groups and nonactivated groups. This study is also focused on suggesting political implications of entrepreneurship education of the new LINC+ project(2017 to 2021), designated in 2017. This study targets university entrepreneurship education centers, while the preceding studies have suggested implications by integrating and comparing the findings, based on entrepreneurship education center-oriented analyses. For achieving the objective of this study, characteristics of activated university groups and nonactivated university groups and differences between them were analyzed by examining previous literature regarding domestic entrepreneurship education centers, analyzing database of university information disclosure, and investigating the present state, revealed in the developed structured questionnaire about entrepreneurship education center management. In conclusion, it is anticipated that the study result would provide information of university entrepreneurship education and implications to university faculty, researchers, public officials, students, and the persons involved of entrepreneurship support institutes for efficient management of entrepreneurship education centers
