ABSTRACT

In this intercultural dialogue on the future of professional development post pandemic, nine media educators and scholars, representing Brazil, Israel, Portugal, the United Kingdom, and the United States, have participated in an asynchronous dialogue to reflect on their chapter. These media educators and scholars highlighted issues such as accessibility to training, lack of research on impact, need for socio-emotional support, and critical pedagogy practices. The discussion offers insights on various ways to support media education by creating more opportunities for professional development and a community of learners across the world.
