ABSTRACT
By exposing the surveillance subject that is produced as a result of CCTV surveillance, the data presented in this chapter is divided into four broad sections. They include patient and staff awareness of cameras, how they both felt about the cameras and patient responses to camera surveillance, including their attempts to resist this surveillance. Research data suggests that patient resistance to camera surveillance was chaotic and not based on collective action but individualised responses.
