ABSTRACT

Organisations face many challenges as they seek to reinvent themselves to compete in an increasingly digital world. The introduction of digital technologies across an organisation opens the opportunity to design new kinds of products and services, produce them with optimised processes, deliver them in new ways, gain fresh insights into their impact in use and build more intimate relationships with consumers. The author highlights that digital transformation requires a focus on several key areas. How each organisation addresses these areas will determine its success in coping with the opportunities and challenges of our digital world.
