ABSTRACT
Chapter 10 introduces the reader to Chailey Heritage in East Sussex. Chailey Heritage is a non-maintained special school (part of Chailey Heritage Foundation) that supports children and young people with physical disabilities and complex medical difficulties as well as a variety of learning needs. It describes the philosophy and approaches the school has developed to provide safe and inclusive provision with high expectations for all young people in its care, whatever their disability.
