Lean Principles-Based Optimization of the Manufacturing System
Abstract:
This paper takes a first step toward connecting theory concerning Lean methodology and the manufacturing organization by using Tecnomatix Plant Simulation tools. We built a simple Input-Output production model to show the main Method and Objects in Tecnomatix Plant Simulation, which are optimized systems for reducing waste and increasing throughput.
