The summations that appear in Equations (3), (4), and (6) must be taken from ${k}_{x}\,({k}_{y})=-10$ to 10, except for the case of ${k}_{x}={k}_{y}=0$ . The results are not affected by this correction because simulations were done based on the correct summations.

Equation (16) must be corrected as

$\begin{eqnarray}&&\langle n\rangle \sim {n}_{0}\,\sqrt{\displaystyle \frac{{\rho }_{0}\,{v}_{x,0}^{2}}{{B}_{y,0}^{2}(\theta )/8\pi }}.\end{eqnarray} \tag{ 16 }$

This is because Equation (16) should be derived by the following two equations: $\langle n\rangle =r\,{n}_{0}$ and the pressure balance equation ${\rho }_{0}\,{v}_{x,0}^{2}={(r{B}_{y,0})}^{2}/8\pi$ , where r is the average compression ratio of the shock. This correction does not affect the discussion given in the paper, but Figure 8 is corrected so that it matches the results of the simulations better (see the figure below).
