본 연구의 목적은 교과서 개발에 있어 이해관계자 및 사용자의 의견을 수렴하여 디자인 이슈를 도출하는 것이다. 선행연구를 통해 초등학교 교과서에 대한 이해 및 외형적 체제의 요소별 특성을 파악하고 이해관계자 및 사용자 FGI(Focus Group Interview)를 진행하였다. 교과서 이해관계자 및 사용자는 개발기관, 발행사, 공공교육기관 실무자를 중심으로 하여 교과서 활용하여 수업을 진행하는 교사와 교과서를 개발하는 개발진(디자이너, 기획자, 편집자, 집필진)으로 선정하였다. 연구방법의 경우 논문, 교육부 및 한국교육과정 평가원의 연구보고서(초등학교 교육과정, 교과용 도서 관련 편수자료, 2015 개정교육과정에 따른 교과용 도서개발을 위한 편찬상의 유의점 및 검정기준)를 통해 연구를 위한 기초자료를 수집하고 2018년 5월7일 ~2018년 5월 13일 7일간 12명과 FGI를 진행하였다. FGI를 통해 디자인 이슈를 분석하는 방식으로 진행하였다. FGI결과, 판형, 레이아웃, 이미지, 타이포그래피, 콘텐츠와 관련된 디자인 이슈를 도출하였다. 기존의 일반적인 교과서 디자인 분석 연구에서 벗어나 이해관계자들의 의견을 반영하여 현 교과서 디자인을 분석하였다는데 의의가 있다. 또 본 연구를 통해 디자인가이드라인 개발 필요성을 확인하였을 뿐만 아니라 향후 교과서 디자인 연구 분야에서 추가적으로 진행되어야 하는 연구에 대한 시야를 제공하였다는데 학문적 기여도가 높다.

The purpose of this research is to derive design problems by incorporating the opinions of stakeholder and users in the development of textbooks. Through previous research, we grasped elementary school textbooks' understanding and elemental characteristics of outline system, and conducted stakeholder and user FGI. In the case of research methods, basic data for research are collected through research papers from the papers, the Ministry of Education, the Korea Institute of Curriculum & Evaluation and analyzed the design issues through FGI. We conducted a 12-person FGI for 7 days from May 7, 2018 to May 13, 2018. FGI results, book size, layout, image, typography, content related issues related to the design problem. Apart from the research on design analysis of existing general textbooks, it is meaningful to analyze the design of the current textbook reflecting the opinions of stakeholder. Also, Through this research we not only confirmed the necessity of developing the design guidelines, but also provided a view for research that needs further progress in the future textbook design research field, the academic contribution degree is high.
