Abstract

The article considers the main approaches to assessing innovation security through the prism of the activity of the regional economy in the innovation sphere. The key disadvantage of methods for assessing innovation activity is the lack of assessment of the influence of factors on the effectiveness of innovation activity or on the integral indicator of innovation activity. Based on the identification of groups of factors that have the most significant impact on innovation activity, a study was made of their influence on the prospects for innovation security in the region.
