친환경 융합기술의 기술사업화 전략 : 전기자동차의 특허분석과 비즈니스 생태계 분석을 중심으로

융합기술은 산업의 경쟁방식과 가치 창출 패러다임을 전환시킴으로써 기존 산업에 새로운 경쟁 우위와 기술혁신을 창출하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이와 같은 융합기술의 성공적인 사업화를 위해 친환경 융합기술인 전기자동차를 대상으로, 새로운 사업화 전략의 프레임워크를 도출하였다. 본 연구는 특허데이터를 기반으로 전기자동차의 기업 차원과 기술 차원을 실증적으로 분석하고, 해당 결과를 세로축과 가로축으로 구성하여 최종적인 결과를 통해 사업화 전략 프레임워크를 제안하였다. 이를 위해 기술데이터인 특허데이터를 활용하여 주요 기업 30개를 선정하였다. 이후 기업 차원 분석은 전기자동차 관련 기업들의 기술사업화 역량과 관련된 특허지표와 요인 및 군집분석을 수행하여 4개의 특허 포트폴리오 군집으로 구분하였다. 기술 차원의 분석은 네트워크 분석을 선행하여 각 기업의 핵심 특허를 파악하고, 융합기술의 특성에 기반한 비즈니스 생태계 분석을 통해 전기자동차 산업의 최종적인 3가지 핵심기술을 도출하였다. 이후 기업 및 기술 차원 결과를 통합하여 전기자동차 사업화를 위한 최종적인 전략 프레임워크를 구축하였다.

Convergence technology is creating new competitive advantages and technological innovations in existing industries by shifting the industry’s competition and value creation paradigm. In this study, for the successful Technology commercialization of convergence technology, a new Technology commercialization strategy framework was derived for EV (Electric Vehicles), an eco-friendly convergence technology. This study empirically analyzes the firms’ strategic characters and the core technology of electric vehicles based on patent data, and proposes a technology commercialization strategy framework through the final results by constructing the vertical and horizontal axes of the results. The firms’ strategic characters analysis is divided into four patent portfolio clusters by analyzing patent indicators, factors, and clusters related to technology commercialization capabilities of EV companies. The the core technology analysis prioritized network analysis to identify core patents of each company, and derived the final three core technologies of the EV industry through business ecosystem analysis based on the characteristics of convergence technology. With the two results, the final strategic framework for Technology commercialization was established. The framework could be used for choosing appropriate collaboration partners and avoiding useless competition.
