<<동문선>>은 한국 고대 시인들의 한시문을 집대성한 가장 중요한 한국 민족고전의 하나로 한국고전문학연구에 있어서 기초 자료와 연구 텍스트로서 상당히 중요한 역할을 하고 있다. 따라서 여기에는 일말의 오류가 있어서는 안 될 것이다. 그런데 한국 민족문화추진회에서 편찬한 <<동문선>>(民文庫, 1989년 10월 발행)을 보면 원문 한자에 적지 않은 오류가 있을 뿐만 아니라 그 원문의 해독을 돕기 위한 주해에도 적지 않은 오류와 문제가 있으며 그것을 한글로 번역한 한역시 외에도 그것을 한글로 옮겨놓은 데도 적지 않은 오류가 있음을 본다. 특히 원문의 경우는 비슷하게 생긴 글자를 잘못 표기함으로써 생기는 오류가 상당히 많은바 이로 하여 시가 해독과 해석에 많은 오류가 생길 수 있으므로 절대 그런대로 간과할 수 있는 문제가 아니며, 이러한 오류들을 시정하지 않으면 원문을 정확하게 해독할 수 없으며 주해 부분에도 출처가 틀린 오류, 인용이 틀린 오류, 저자 인명이 틀린 경우 등 여러 가지 경우가 있으며, 한글 부분에서 인명이 누락된 경우를 비롯하여 이러저러한 문제가 있다. 우리의 고전을 정확하게 후세에 전달하기 위해서는 이러한 오류를 시정하고 수정을 가할 필요가 있다. 특히 원문과 원문의 이해와 해독을 돕기 위한 주해에 나타나는 오류는 반드시 수정될 필요가 있다. 그리하여 본문에서는 그 오류를 도표로 제시하고 해석하면서 앞으로의 수정에 자그마한 도움이라도 주고자 하였다.

Therefore, this article presents and explains the errors in the form of charts, hoping to provide some help for future revisions.
