유럽은 2014년부터 전기기기 에너지 효율규제를 강화하여 에너지효율 기준에 미치지 못하는 기기에 더 이상 시장 유통에서 제외하도록 하였으며, 또한 에너지효율 등급 표기를 의무화하여 전기기기 제조업체가 소비자에게 에너지 소비 관련 정보를 제공하도록 하고 있다. 가정용 가스보일러 순환펌프의 경우 2012년에 에너지 효율지수(EEI) 시험절차의 표준을 제정하였고, 2013년부터 EEI를 적용하여, 2015년부터 에너지효율지수가 0.23 이하를 만족하는 고효율 순환펌프 사용을 의무화 하고 있으며, 2020년부터는 보일러 교체되는 부품이 에너지효율지수가 0.23이하 만족하지 못할 경우 사용할 수가 없게 된다. 국내 시장에서 사용되는 대부분의 펌프의 경우 이 부분에 부합되지 않아 대응책 마련이 필요한 상황이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 국내 보일러 제조사가 세계 최대시장인 유럽시장(약 820만대)을 진입하기 위하여 해외표준 기반으로 자체 제작한 시험장비 및 측정프로그램을 구축한 연구과정을 소개하여, 유럽 수출을 준비하는 보일러 제조사 및 부품 제조사에서 본 연구를 통해 표준과 시험장비의 이해도를 높이는데 도움이 되고자 한다.
Europe has tightened the energy efficiency regulations for electrical equipment since 2014, so that equipment that does not meet the energy efficiency standards is no longer marketed. It also mandates the energy efficiency labeling program so that electrical equipment manufacturers provide consumers with information on energy consumption. In the case of domestic gas boiler circulation pumps, the standard of the Energy Efficiency Index (EEI) test procedure was establish in 2012, and the EEI was applied in 2013. Since 2015, it is mandatory to use high efficiency circulation pumps that satisfy the energy efficiency index below 0.23, and from 2020, the parts replaced by boilers cannot be used if the energy efficiency index does not meet below 0.23. Most of the pumps used in the domestic market don’t meet the EEI value, so it is necessary to prepare countermeasures. Therefore, in this study, introduced the research process that domestic boiler manufacturers to enter the European market(about 8.2 million units), which is the world’s largest market, we made a test device and a measurement program that were uniquely manufactured based on EN standards. Through in this research, boiler manufacturers and parts manufacturers preparing for export to Europe will try to improve their understanding of standards and test equipment.
