1st Epigenetics Society International Meeting "Epigenetics of Disease and Development"

The Epigenetics Society (ES, https://epigeneticssocietyint.com/home) was established in 1994 to promote research in epigenetics research and networking between scientists studying epigenetics.

In 2023, the ES organized an international conference “Epigenetics of Disease and Development" held on Oct. 12 -14 at the “Trevi Conference Center”, in the heart of Rome’s historical city center.

The meeting attracted more than 200 participants from 27 countries with an extraordinary array of presentations. Participants ranged from top international leaders in the field to students and from academicians to industry representatives. There were six keynote speakers, 19 featured Speakers and 24 talks chosen from submitted abstracts. In addition, the conference featured 101 poster presentations. The subject matter covered a broad array of topics in basic, clinical, translational, plant, developmental, cancer, and plant epigenetics as well as emerging technologies for epigenetics research. The abstracts below reflect some of the excitement of this conference with abstracts from speaker presentations and then from posters in alphabetical order of presenters’ name.
