This study investigated differences in status of digital aging(access, competence, utilization), perception of usefulness of digital aging, and intention for engagement in active aging via digital between groups. 258 respondents living in Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongnam areas responded to a structured questionnaire. Major findings were: First, statistically significant differences were found in some of access and utilization of digital aging between groups. But no difference was found in competence area of digital aging, Second, there was statistically meaningful differences in the perception of usefulness of digital aging ‘seeking jobs’. Finally, there existed some statistically meaningful differences in the intention for engagement in active aging via digital. In general, the group aged between 55 and 64 showed higher level of utilization of their information literacy and of intention for engagement in active ageing via digital compared to other groups(aged over 65)

본 연구는 장년층과 노년층 사이에 존재하는 디지털에이징 실태(접근, 역량, 활용), 디지털에이징 유용성 에 대한 인식, 그리고 디지털을 통한 액티브에이징 참여 의도의 차이를 고찰하였다. 부산·울산·경남지역의 장노년 층 258명을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 통해 자료를 분석하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 디지털에이징의 접근 및 활용 측면에서 집단 간 일부 차이가 있었으나, 역량 측면에는 집단 간 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 디지털에이 징의 유용성에 대해 ‘일자리 찾기’ 항목에 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 마지막으로 디지털을 통한 액티브에 이징 참여 의도에서도 부분적 항목에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 전반적으로 장년층이 노년층에 비해 정보화 역량을 더 많이 활용하고 있었고, 디지털을 통한 액티브에이징 참여 의도 역시 더 높게 나타났다.

INCA was registered as an incorporated association under the Ministry of Information and Communications. The main purpose of the organization is to improve our society by achieving the highest capability possible in next generation convergence technology.
