Abstract

NiFe2O4 nanopowder was synthesized by co-precipitation method. Precursors were mixed in a desired stoichiometric ratio and calcined at about 800°C to get nickel ferrite nanopowder. The synthesized nickel ferrite was characterized by XRD. The structural parameters such as the lattice constant (a), volume, average crystallite size (D), texture coefficient (TC) and lattice strain (η) have been determined.
