Spontaneous and glutamate evoked calcium oscillations in rat hippocampal astrocytes

Abstract

In this work, we researched spontaneous and glutamate evoked Ca2+ oscillations in rat hippocampal astrocytes using confocal laser scanning microscopy and bulk-loading of the Ca2+-sensitive dye Oregon Green Bapta 1-AM.
