本試驗探討於夏季期間以耕作處理和生長抑制劑噴用對於促使蓮霧由營養生長轉入生殖生長之穩定性,以應用於蓮霧之促成栽培,結果顯示,耕作處理對於蓮霧促進開花之效果比藥劑處理爲佳。以斷根和浸水處理併用之早花率達最高。生長抑制劑以Ethrel和C.C.C.兩種藥劑最爲有效。 在蓮霧促成栽培上,夏季期間以斷根、浸水處理再噴以生長抑制劑可使蓮霧比一般栽培之花期(3-5月)提早半年,生產期也因而提早半年,可於國曆新年前採收。同時如有適當之施肥管理,在一年內可收穫達六次。
To industrialize the flower forcing treatment of wax-appple, the stability among cultural and chemical treatments in the summer time on the inductio n of flowering is investigated, the results indicate that cultural practices are superior to chemical sprayings-especially root pruning in combination with waterlogging. Ethrel and Cycocel are better flower induction reagents among chemicals used. Accurate cultural practices plus chemical spraying makes wax-apple trees produce off-season fruits six months earlier (period of high economic value) than normal trees. Besides, six crops per year is possible under adequate management practices.
