適性化學習之成效評估-以計算機概論為例

摘要


傳統的教育必需透過一定的時間、地點,藉由書本和指導者的親臨授課,才可讓學習者達成學習的目的。然而,時間和地點一直是傳統教育上的學習限制。網路的發達,使學習者突破了空間與時間上的限制,為學習者帶來了莫大的便利。目前,由ADL組織所制定之SCORM(Shareable Content Object Reference Model)標準,是目前數位學習領域中,為國內外產業所推崇的數位學習標準之一。 本研究的目的是在於提出一個符合SCORM標準的適性化(Adaptive)計算機概論教學課程,利用實驗的方法,來檢驗適性化教學對學習者學習成效的影響,並且利用MOODLE建構計算機概論之適性化學習。評估適性化網路教學之學習成效的衡量指標分別包含學習成績、滿意度、學習效率、自我評估等四個構面。研究發現採用適性化學習者比採用非適性化學習者,在學習成效上有顯著較佳的表現。因此,依據本研究之結果提出透過適性化網路學習,學習者不需像傳統教學採用固定的學習方式來進行學習,而能夠以自已的學習進度來進行學習,並且能夠在最短時間得到較佳的學習成效。

The traditional education requests the learner to personally attend the class at certain time and location, instructed by the teacher. Recently, web-based learning brings the great convenience for the learner. Currently, the SCORM (the Shareable Content Object Reference Model) standard set by the ADL organization is one of the most recommendable standards in e-learning area. This purpose of this research is to present an SCORM-Compliant adaptive teaching on Introduction to Computer science. The experiment method is used to examine the learning effectiveness. Four factors: grade, satisfaction, efficiency and self evaluation of learning are used to measure the performance. In our research result, better learning effectiveness is achieved by web-based learning than traditional teaching.
