A 26 year nulliparous woman presented to the OPD with complaint of painless swelling in the vulva for the last 1.5 years which gradually increased in size causing difficulty in walking. Physical examination revealed a well-defined soft, non-tender ellipsoidal swelling with smooth margins in vulvar region measuring 9*6*4 cm lateral to right labia majora extending from clitoris to external anal orifice, which was mobile and not fixed to overlying skin or underlying bone. The differential diagnosis were Vulvar lipoma, Bartholin cyst, peritoneal inclusion cyst of the canal of Nuck. The mass was surgically excised. Figures 1,2 represent the preoperative and postoperative pictures respectively. The histopathology revealed a well-defined tumor composed of lobules of mature adipocytes divided by fibrous septa without atypia; confirming the diagnosis of lipoma. Histologically, they must be distinguished from well differentiated lipoma-like liposarcomas [1]. Clinical diagnosis and complete surgical excision of this rare benign vulvar neoplasm is the mainstay of treatment [2,3].
