장애인 활동보조서비스 활동보조인의 서비스 제공 경험에 관한 연구

A Study on the Service Experience of Personal Assistants for People with Disabilities

본 연구의 목적은 장애인활동보조서비스에서 돌봄노동의 관계적 맥락에 기반하여 활동보조인의 서비스 제공 경험의 의미를 탐색하는데 있다. 활동보조인 서비스 제공 경험의 의미를 들여다보는 것은 활동보조인의 근로환경 및 제도개선 뿐 아니라 장애인의 일상생활 지원에 시사점을 제시한다. 이를 위한연구방법은 일반적 질적연구방법을 사용하였고, 활동보조인 12명을 심층인터뷰하여 분석한 결과 다음과같은 연구결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 활동보조인들은 돌봄노동의 관계적 맥락에 기반하여 감정노동과 돌봄노동을 제공하는 사람으로서 장애인과 사회를 이어주고 있었다. 이는 크게 네 가지 영역으로 구분되었다. 첫째, ‘전인적 노동으로서의 돌봄노동’, 둘째, ‘공과 사의 영역이 교차하는 노동’, 셋째, ‘자아를 비워내는 노동’, 넷째, ‘장애인과 사회를 이어주는 통로이다. 이러한 분석결과를 바탕으로 활동보조인에 대한전문적인 돌봄노동자로서의 현장교육 강화, 교육과정의 질적 향상, 노동조건 개선 그리고 노동자로서의보호장치 마련 등을 제안한다.

The purpose of this study was to explore the experiences of personal assistants for people with disabilities focus on care service. As this study focused on revealing the meaning and conditions of the experience of care-service provider of personal assistants for people with disabilities contextually. The study was investigated through the participant’s interviews and the materials of document information in qualitative study research. To solve research question, in-depth interviews were carried out with 12 personal assistants for people with disabilities. The data was analyzed by qualitative research methods. The results has been analyzed personal assistants as worker of the emotion and care connected with disabilities and community The results has been analyzed in four dimensions. Firstly, ‘being practiced as care-worker’, secondly, ‘work crossed public and priavate areas’, thirdly, ‘work surrendered self’, lastly, ‘passage connected people with disabilities and community’. Political proposals on personal assistants for people with disabilities training curriculum were made based on these results, suggesting the enhancement of practical education as expert care-worker, education curriculum quality, values and ethics.
