Diagnostic and rehabilitation processes connected to audiology and otoneurology have benefited from the technological revolution. In addition to the most commonly used exams for assessing hearing, new evaluation tools were developed. Moreover, several healthcare software applications are available for patients and clinicians for audiological training, monitoring and rehabilitation. Technological advances lead to great improvements concerning cochlear implant and hearing aids too: design, functionality and accessories were improved to obtain better hearing performance.
