발명교육 프로그램 운영 개선 방안 연구: 현장 적용 사례 분석 중심으로

The Study on Operation Improvement Methods of Invention Education Program through the Case Analysis of Applying the 『The Pursuit of Invention CEO in the Future(Ⅰ)』

사회의 변화가 급격히 일어남에 따라 학생들에게 함양시킬 역량은 무엇인지에 대한 논의가 그 어느 때 보다 활발하다. 이런 목적을 달성하기 위해 여러 교육 형태가 주장되고 있지만 발명교육도 발명교육법(2017)의 제정을 통해, 새롭게 조명되는 교육의 한 형태이다. 이번 연구에서는 『미래의 발명CEO 탐색(Ⅰ)』 프로그램을 발명교 육센터나 발명영재 수업, 혹은 정규교과 중의 일부 등에 적용한 후 학생들이 발명교육 수업에 참여하기 전과 후에 발명교육에 대한 인식에 어떤 변화가 있었는지를 조사하고자 했다. 경기도융합과학교육원과의 협력 및 안내를 통해 1차와 2차 연수에 참여한 28명의 교사가 2017년 4월∼6월 사이에 4차시 이상의 수업을 625명의 학생을 대상으로 적용한 후 사전-사후 설문 검사를 실시하여 프로그램 적용 과정에서 학생들의 인식이 어떻게 변화하였는지를 대응표본 t-검정(paired t-test)를 수행하여 조사하 였다. 특별히 이 인식조사에서는 임형규, 이춘식(2012)이 개발한『학생 발명의 태도 검사지(24문항)』가 활용되었다. 더불어 그 통계조사 결과와 함께 28개의 다양한 수업 사례 분석을 통해 교사들이 어떻게 프로그램을 적용했고, 프로그램 적용 관련하여 어떤 개선 방안을 제시했는지를 조사하면서 향후 발명교육 프로그램의 적용 및 운영 관련 개선방안에 대한 시사점을 도출하고자 했다.

With the change of society approaching rapidly, the discussion about what capacities students should strengthen is livelier than ever before. To accomplish this purpose, several forms of education are being suggested, and invention education is one form of education which is rapidly gathering attention through the enactment of the Invention Education Act(2017). In this study, after implementing the Invention Education Program of 『The Pursuit of Invention CEO in the Future(Ⅰ)』 in the Invention Education Center, the Invention Gifted Class, or some of the regular curriculum, we tried to investigate the change in the perceptions of students before and after participating in invention education programs using the tool of『Questionnaire of the student’s attitude toward invention(24questions)』 developed by Hyung-kyu Lim and Chun-shik Lee(2012). In other words, this research was carried out by having 28 teachers who participated in the first and second teacher education program apply the education programs to 625 students a minimum of four times. Then a pre-and post-program questionnaire was administered to the students so the change in the students perceptions during the application of the program could be tracked through a paired t-test. In addition, by analyzing 28 different cases, we tried to find out the problems regarding the application of 『The Pursuit of Invention CEO in the future(Ⅰ)』 in the field, and figure out how to improve the effectiveness of the program by solving those problems.
