첫째 자녀의 초등학교로의 전이과정에서 어머니 경험에 대한 탐색

A Study for Mother’s Experience in the Course of their 1 st  Children’s Entering into Elementary School

본 연구는 첫째 자녀를 초등학교 1학년에 보내는 어머니들을 대상으로 자녀의 초등학교로의 전이과정에서 어머니 경험과 그 의미에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 2013년 1월에서 2013년 7월까지 어머니들의 경험을 기초로 그룹별 면담 및 개 별적 저널쓰기를 통한 자료수집이 이루어졌다. 연구 결과, 첫째 자녀의 초등학교로의 전이과정에서 어머니들의 경험은 지속적인 염려, 마치 초등학생처럼, 뭐든지 해결사, 나침반 제시 등이었으며 둘째, 어머니들의 경험의 의미는 갈등은 숙명적, 열정 을 불꽃같이, 자립의 갈망, 가치추구의 위안 등으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 자녀의 초등학교 입학이라는 가족적 변화주기에 따른 올바른 부모 역할에 대한 혜안을 제시하여 추후 잠재적 초등 학부모들의 불안해소와 실제적 부모역할 수행을 돕는 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

This study tried to know the meaning of mothers s experience who are in the course of their children coming into elementary school. Data have been gathered through group interview and writing letters individually based on mothers’ experience from Jan. to July 2013. The first feature of mothers experience, as a result of the study, are ‘continuous worry,’ ‘like a children in elementary school,’ ‘troubleshooter for everything,’ suggesting compass’. The second, the meaning of mothers’ experience are ‘fateful conflict,’ ‘flamelike passion,’ ‘eager for self-reliance,’ ‘comfort from pursuing values’. The result of the study help remove parents’ anxiety by suggesting the proper parents’ role for their children’s entering into elementary school, present basic information to help implementing practical parents’ role for children.
