본 연구는 급속한 의료기술발달과 생활수준의 향상으로 평균수명이 계속 증가하고 생의 주기에서 노년기가 길어지고 부부가 함께 지내는 기간도 길어지면서 노년기 부부의 삶의 질 문제가 부각되고 있다. 이에 노년기 부부에 대한 국내 연구 문헌을 분석하여 연구동향을 파악하고 향후 노년기 부부연구에 대한 방향을 모색하기 위해 시도되었다. 이를 위해 노년기 부부, 노년 부부, 노인 부부를 주제어로 검색한 결과 2008∼2017년까지 발표된 총 87건의 국내문헌 중 노년기 부부 관련 연구의 시기별 동향과 주요어, 연구대상자, 연구설계, 연구목적, 연구결과를 분석하였다. 주요어는 노년기부부(15.7%), 결혼만족도(11.8%), 친밀감(8.4%), 의사소통(7.9%) 순이었고, 연구대상자는 60세 이상과 65세 이상이 각 33건(38%), 55세 이상(16%), 50세 이상(3.4%) 순이었다. 연구설계는 서술연구가 60편(69%)로 가장 많았다. 노년기 부부와 관련된 연구는 노년기 부부의 결혼만족도에 영향을 미치는 다양한 요인들을 파악하여 결혼만족도를 높일 수 있는 여러 가지 방안들을 밝히고 있다. 본 연구를 통해 향후 노년기 부부의 결혼만족도를 높이기 위한 체계적인 부부관계증진 프로그램을 개발하고 적용한 연구가 필요하다고 본다.

In this study, life expectancy of elderly couples is increasing due to rapid improvement of medical technology and improvement of living standards, life expectancy is increasing continuously, life expectancy is getting longer and life span is longer. The purpose of this study is to analyze the domestic research literature on the elderly couples and to investigate the trends of the research on the elderly couples. The results of this study are as follows: The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the age and the marital status of the elderly couple, the elderly couple, and the elderly couple. The results were analyzed. The main subjects were married couples (15.7%), marital satisfaction (11.8%), intimacy (8.4%) and communication (7.9%), 55 and over (16%), and 50 and over (3.4%). The research design was composed of 60 descriptive studies (69.0%). The research on the elderly couple reveals various ways to improve the marital satisfaction by identifying the various factors influencing the marital satisfaction of the elderly couple. This study suggests that a systematic marital relationship promotion program should be developed and applied to increase the marital satisfaction of the elderly couple in the future.
