Recentry, commuter airlines have increased and their achievements have become a center of attention. Such interest is because commuter airlines are fast becoming one of the most important means of rapid transit.
The most important point of Commuter Airlines planning is demands forecasting. There was no effective data about commuter airlines in Japan because it is a comparatively new transit system.
In this paper, we suggested a forecating demand model for commuter airlines using the number of telephone calls OD-data. The suggested model seems to be effective because there is a close between commuter traffic and telephone calls.
