본 연구는 정서·행동장애 자녀를 둔 부모를 위한 멘토링이 효과적으로 이루어지기 위해 프로그램 실행의 각 단계별로 고려되어야 할 중요한 요인들을 탐색적으로 확인하는 데 주요한 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2015년~2016년까지 국립중앙청소년디딤센터에서 실시한 부모 멘토링 프로그램에 참여한 멘토 7명과 멘티 5명을 대상으로 FGI와 1:1 심층 인터뷰를 각각 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 효과적인 부모 멘토링 프로그램을 위해 각 단계별로 고려해야 할 영향요인으로는 시작단계에서는‘목적 및 목표 설정’과‘멘토링 구조 확립’이, 과정단계에서는‘멘토링 방식’과‘멘토 역량’이, 종결단계에서는 ‘사후관리’요인이 중요한 것으로 나타났다. 정서·행동장애 자녀를 둔 부모 중심 멘토링 프로그램의 내실화와 성과 기반 마련을 위해서는 가족 체계적 관점의 반영, 부모들의 심리·정서적 부분에 대한 상담과 치료를 통한 선제적 개입, 멘토링 사후관리 체계의 마련, 멘토의 자녀양육 경험과 연륜을 바탕으로 하는 멘토-멘티 간 상호 신뢰감 형성, 안정적인 시·공간적 환경 확보 요인이 특히 중요한 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study is to identify the important factors that should be considered at each stage of mentoring program for parents with children at risk of-emotional and behavioral disorders. For this, we conducted a 1:1 in - depth interview with 5 mentees and FGI for 7 mentors who participated in the parent mentoring program at the National Youth Developmental Center from 2015 to 2016. The results of this study are as follows. The most important factors that need to be considered for the effective parent mentoring programs were 'objective and goal' and 'structure of mentoring program' in the beginning stage, 'method of mentoring program', ‘competence of mentors' in the process stage, and 'follow-up management' in the termination stage. The results of the analysis suggest the needs to systematize a parent mentoring program. In order to improve the performance of the parent-centered mentoring program for parents with children at risk of emotional and behavioral disorders, it is necessary to reflect the family system perspective, to ensure preemptive intervention through counseling and treatment of parents' psychological and emotional parts, to devise follow-up management system for parents and children, to establish mentor-mentee’s mutual trust based on years of experience of mentors and child rearing experience, and to secure stable temporal and spatial environments.
