연구목적: 본 연구는 아동학대 관련 인식, 아동학대 지식 및 사례지식, 신고효과성, 행위 통제력 등이 유아교사의 아동학대 신고의도에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 하였다. 방법: 창원지역 어린이집 및 유치원 교사 263명을 대상으로 기술통계, t-검정, 일원배치 분산분석 및 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 결과: 유아교사들의 아동학대지식 점수는 12점 만점에 6.73점, 사례지식점수는 5점 만점에 4.70점으로 조사되었으며 아동학대 신고의 신고효과성 인식과 행위통제력에 있어서도 비교적 높은 인식수준을 보였다. 아동학대 신고의도에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 아동학대 관련 인식의 하위요인인 아동학대 심각성 인식과 유아교사의 아동학대 책임감 및 아동학대 사례지식, 행위통제력으로 나타났다. 결론: 이러한 연구결과에 따라서 아동학대 사례지식 중심의 아동학대교육을 실시하는 것이 필요하며, 아동학대 심각성에 대한 교사의 인식을 증진시켜야 함을 강조하였다. 또한 아동학대예방 및 발생에 대한 유아교사의 책임감을 향상시키고 유아교사들의 아동학대 신고관련 행위통제력을 증진시켜 나갈 방안에 대해 제안하였다.

Objectives: This study attempts to examine the effects of awareness of child abuse, child abuse knowledge and case knowledge, child abuse report effectiveness, and behavior control on the intent of child abuse reports among early childhood teachers. Methods: 263 early childhood teachers from child-care centers and kindergartens in Changwon Province were analyzed. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, logistic regression. Results: The child abuse awareness score was 6.73 out of 12, and the child abuse case awareness score was 4.70 out of 5. There was also a relatively high level of awareness of the effectiveness of reporting child abuse and behavior control. The factors affecting the intent of child abuse reports were as follows: awareness of child abuse severity, child abuse prevention responsibility, child abuse case knowledge, and behavior control. Conclusions: The study suggests that early childhood teachers undergo an educational training centered on child abuse. It is also important to develop early childhood teachers’ sense of responsibility regarding awareness of child abuse cases, child abuse severity and prevention. Moreover, the study proposes to foster early childhood teachers’ behavior control in relation to child abuse reports.
