Adenosinium picrate crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group P212121 with a = 8.779(2), b = 33.015(2), c = 6.726(3)Å, V = 1949.5(10)Å3, Z = 4. A hydrogen atom of the hydroxyl group of picric acid was migrated to the adenine skeleton to form adenosinium picrate. Intermolecular hydrogen interactions were found in the crystal.
