Abstract:
With the advancement of technology, the world is increasingly digitized, and the major part of our social and economic life already becomes critically dependent on various information systems. The shocking entry of society into the digital economy poses entirely new challenges to the topic of e-governance. Our progressively dynamic daily routines and increased engagements make the need for better information control, analysis and management a constant one, and the exponentially increasing speed of connections and technologies (including the expected 5G) is a strong argument for seeking quality new tools and opportunities to deploy modern management technologies in all aspects of human activity. Processes that have been unthinkable in the analogue world (e.g. autonomous vehicle management) in the upcoming economy of ultra-high information speeds and ability to deploy artificial intelligence will soon become an integral part of our future.

This article describes the process in which a system for intelligent knowledge and business processes management is implemented within a modern learning information environment. The description includes both its basic functionalities and modular architecture. The unified access platform under consideration is cloud-based and covers all key processes within a specified educational institution - student admission and movement, learning activities (distribution of majors, lectures, buildings, teachers and halls, exams and tests, credits, etc.), research and development activities, document flow, accounting, human resources, etc., with the frontend combining all the information flows into a single intuitive user interface. The basic structural modules covering workflows are illustrated, as well as the different levels of access for system users using advanced authentication technologies and various access methods, incl. a mobile device (laptop, tablet and smartphone), with the platform upgraded with a design-responsive interface. The advantages of cloud services are emphasized as a modern and promising tool for implementation of complex governance practices based on distributed processes and specialized management modules.
