『사고와 표현』은 2007년이 창간되어 2020년인 현재까지 14년 간 교양대학 사고와 표현 교과 관련 연구물을 축적해오고 있다. 이에 『사고와 표현』 학술지에 실린 연구물들을 2014년을 기준으로 전-후기로 나누어, 시기별 연구의 특성과 연구 동향을 분석하였다. 전기와 후기로 수집된 연구물들은 본 연구의 목적에 맞게전처리 한 후, 텍스트 분석을 통해 동시 출현 단어쌍을 추출하여 시기별 주요 개념을 분석하였고, 토픽모델링을 통해 주제어 간의 관계와 연구물 간의 관계를 시각적인 개념 구조도를 통해 나타내었다. 연구 결과, 전기와 후기 일관적으로 중요하게 다루어진 연구 영역은 교양대학 ‘글쓰기’ 관련 교과목에 대한 연구였다.
그러나 전기에는 일반적인 수준에서 수업과 과제에 대한 연구가 이루어졌던 반면, 후기에는 글쓰기 과정, 핵심역량, 학습자, 과제 등과 같은 다양한 토픽과 연결되어 글쓰기 교과 관련 연구가 발전되고 있는 양상을 보였다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 사고와 표현 학술지의 연구 방향에 연구 내용과 연구 방법 차원에서 몇 가지 시사점을 제시하였다.
Thinking and expression was founded in 2007 and has accumulated research on thinking and expression at liberal arts colleges for 14 years until now in 2020. The research materials published in the Journal of Thought and Expression were divided into the previous and later periods based on 2013-14, and the characteristics and research trends of each period were analyzed. The studies collected in the early and late stages were preprocessed according to the purpose of this study, and the key concepts of each period were analyzed through text analysis, and the relationship between the subject words and the research materials through topical modeling was shown through a visual conceptual structure chart. As a result of the study, the field of study, which was consistently important in the first and later years, was the study of the subject related to ‘writing’ of liberal arts colleges. However, while studies of classes and tasks were carried out at a general level in the preceding period, the later period showed that writing-related studies were being developed in connection with various topics such as writing courses, core competencies, learners, assignments, etc. Based on these findings, several implications were presented in terms of research content and research methods in the direction of research in thought and expression journals.
