본 연구는 학업중단 청소년의 심리·정서적 특성에 따른 잠재프로파일을 분류하여 예측요인을 살펴보고 잠재프로파일 별 진로장애의 차이를 파악하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구대상으로 한국청소년정책연구원에서 수행한 학업중단 청소년 패널조사의 5차년도 자료를 활용하였으며, 잠재프로파일분석과 로지스틱 회귀분석, 일원배치 분산분석을 사용하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면, 첫째, 학업중단 청소년의 심리·정서적 특성에 따른 잠재프로파일 수는 3개로 나타났으며, 각 집단의 특성에 따라 진로장애에 유의한 차이가 나타나 진로장애 안정집단, 진로장애 위험집단, 진로장애 일반집단으로 명명하였다. 둘째, 심리·정서적 특성 프로파일에 대한 예측요인은 부모애착, 또래애착으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 학업중단 청소년의 심리·정서적 특성을 사람중심접근인 잠재프로파일분석을 통해 분류하였다는데 의의가 있으며, 이를 통해 학업중단 청소년의 정서적 발달을 돕고 진로장애를 낮추기 위한 개입의 초점에 관한 함의점을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to classify the latent profile based on psychological/emotional characteristics among school dropout youths and to confirm the difference in career barriers by the latent profiles. Questionnaire date from the fifth wave of Panel Survey of School Dropout Youths conducted by the National Youth Policy Institute were analyzed. The data were analyzed using latent profile analysis, logistic regression, and analysis of variance. The findings of this study were as follows. First, as a result of latent profile analysis, three profiles with differences in psychological/emotional characteristics were finding. There was significant difference in career barriers between each profile, they were named ‘career barriers stable profile’, ‘career barriers risk profile’, and ‘career barriers general profile’. Second, the predictors of the latent profile were parental attachment and peer attachment. Our findings provide valuable implications to help school dropout youths to get better psychological/emotional characteristics and to reduce career barriers.
